Sydian males are fist-fighters, relying heavily on physical attacks. Their punches are powerful enough to punch through shields, dealing health damage even when their opponent's shields are still up. They do have some lust attacks, however, as well as the ability to degrade an opponent's armor, causing it to fail for the rest of the encounter. It is possible for this degradation to persist, forcing an opponent to go get the gear repaired in Novahome by Shekka or Anno. They can be a fairly difficult fight for low-health characters, particularly Tech Specialists due to their shield-bypass attacks.
