Combat

Infected individuals may gain physical strength (in the case of male identifying spores) or increased awareness (in the case of female identifying spores) in the later stages of infection. Initial stages are usually capable of functioning in society and appear no different than an uninfected individual unless tested by offworld medical technology. Infected with access to weaponry will allow their manifestations to wield weapons. Typically, the host will wield a melee weapon while the fungus uses a number of tricks associated with their spores, as the manifested bodies aren’t physically powerful.
