Chaurmine's Quest: Inferno and Ice
Chaurmine has a mini-quest surrounding him and his love for the PC. If the player has obtained the Steele Tech Probe for Myrellion and told Chaurmine that they Liked him or felt Meh about him as he prepared to leave Tarkus.
There is a chance to encounter Chaurmine on Uveto in a chasm in The Rift. There, they will meet a very horny Chaurmine who has been fighting and fucking anyone he's come across since his arrival. Or rather, since he left the player on Tarkus. Chaurmine will explain that his people aren't used to experiencing complex emotions like love and can't purge this burning desire that ignited since leaving you. He believes that the only way to understand these emotions is to confront you in a 1 on 1 Saurmorian Style fight.

Combat Appearance
Chaurmine stands before you. His vicious snout - combined with his tense, hulking frame - displays a savage visage, contrasting greatly with your otherwise calm surroundings. Armed with his massive hammer and heavy railgun in each hand, he looks ready to fight a small army all by himself. The cold air steams off of his sweltering body, gusts of air from above occasionally whipping and thrashing the misty streams like tattered cloth.
His azure eyes are filled with an intense fire.
Combat
Chaurmine is a fairly straightforward albeit challenging fight. He is a Mercenary with complete immunity to all lust attacks and very few unique attacks of his own. When fighting him, Chaurmine has 90% Resistance to all physical attacks and 75% immune to stuns by default. However, every so often he will use a charging ability. If it misses, Chaurmine becomes stunned for 3 turns. While stunned, either from the player's abilities or by missing his charging ability, Chaurmine takes +500% damage from any and all physical attacks.
Move Set
- Saurmorian Hammer - Chaurmine attacks you with his war hammer.
- Basic melee crushing attack
- Saurmorian Railgun - Chaurmine attacks you with his Railgun.
- Basic ranged bullet attack
- Charge - Chaurmine will perform a full body equivalent of the Headbutt move.
- Used rarely instead of the other moves
- Stuns the player for one turn if it hits
- If it misses then it stuns Chaurmine for 3 turns and greatly lowers his defense

If the player fails to defeat Chaurmine, the Saurmorian will thank you for at least trying and mends your wounds so you can be off on your way. You can try again later.
If the player wins, Chaurmine will have an epiphany as to what love means when you show concern to him and try to nurse him back to health.(See sex scenes above) Chaurmine will then be moved to the Uvetan hangar, where he can be talked to, sexed, or sparred with again. Upon first approaching him at 100% affection, he will award the player with his Saurmorian Hammer and Railgun.
Loot/Items/Equipment
If defeated, Charmine will drop 10,000 credits. He is worth 204,546XP.
