Effect: Kane finally acts on his frustrations with Quinn, striking out on his own to form his own, more aggressive Zil tribe. Having used his assertiveness and powerful pheromones to turn Captain Steele into his fuckpet, he takes you along, either as a breeder or just as a bootlicking trophy. Some years later, another explorer encounters him deep in the Mhen'ga jungle. Once he's finished giving you another good hard railing, Kane gives the explorer a choice: either leave and never come back, or stay and learn the ways of his tribe. The implication is that Kane goes on to work his pheromonal magic on many other susceptible offworlders.
