Big T is from a generation of the Tee family who first landed and colonized on a varmint-infested planet, eventually claiming and naming it New Texas. The founder, Captain Tiberia Tee, first lady captain and commanding officer of the colony ship, was the main proponent of using the Treatment as a way to strengthen the colony’s growth and development. From there, use of the Treatment has been a normalcy for the planet and Big T acknowledges that fact.
