Male anatae have feathered crests that in their distant past they used to attract mates; they are a minor erogenous area, similar to an ausar’s ears. Unsurprisingly male anatae generally regard their plumes with a great deal of personal pride. Limp or scruffy feathers in males are usually a sign of sickness or depression. Both sexes feature small tufts of feathers at their elbows. These are major erogenous areas.
