The importance that scarcity awarded females in anatae society meant their culture evolved to naturally centre around them. In traditional anatae society females generally functioned as figurehead leaders and nurses whilst the males functioned as doers at every level. In time females came to symbolize the economic side of an anatae nation, males the military and utility side. Nations would traditionally employ a king and queen analogue, who though rarely mates would sit at the top of their hierarchies and come to decisions of over-reaching importance together.
