Saendra’s personal A.I., Valeria, is Steele’s main companion during the brunt of Fall of the Phoenix, and contributes to several conversations between Steele and Saen. Saendra mentions that she and Val have been together since childhood, implying that the A.I. is possibly based on her own infant brain patterns, as grown A.I.s typically are. Valeria is characterized by a small, fluttering fairy-like holo avatar projecting from various points in the Phoenix or from Saendra’s wrist mount. In stark contrast to her companion, Val is shy and soft spoken, much less assertive than Saendra is. However, Valeria seemingly shares Saendra’s high libido and sex drive, if her vast collection of fetish pornography is any indication.
